Licensed Bakery


There are three ways that you can place a order with us.  You can fill out the request form on our Contact Us page, which will send us a detailed email regarding your order.  You can email us at d_delightscakes@hotmail.com or you can call us at       919-235-5956.  Once we receive your request, we will give you a call back to finish the process.
We request at least two months advance for wedding cake orders and two weeks advance for special occasion cakes.  But, please don't hesitate to contact us if it is a last minute request.



A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order of 25% of the total order due.  Your deposit guarantees the date of service for your event.  The remaining balance is due and must be paid no less than one week prior to the event.



Should you cancel your order before full payment has been made, the deposit to hold your date is non-refundable.



There is no delivery charge up to 30 miles from the bakery location.  If you are outside Wake County or Johnson County, please contact me for the delivery charge.



If your order requires equipment such as columns, cake plates or a stand, etc., a refundable security deposit will be applied to your order.  A deposit of 50% is due at the time of order placement, the balance is due with your final payment.  The Security Deposit will be refunded when the equipment is returned to us in original condition, no later than one week past the event date.

  • The Consultation
We recommend scheduling a complimentary cake tasting and consultation with us to go over the details for your wedding cake.  At the consultation, we will provide three cake flavors and fillings of your choice for you and your guest (limited 4) to enjoy.  Please feel free to bring any ideas, pictures and color swatches with you.  Once we have chosen a design and flavors, we will write up a Wedding Cake Contract with a detailed description of your cake, pricing breakdown and delivery information.

  • Pricing
Our wedding cake starting price is $3.00 a serving.  Please contact us to set up a consultation or to get an exact quote.

  • Artificial Tiers
If you would like to have a larger cake, but need fewer servings, we do offer artificial cake tiers.

  • Anniversary Tiers
All wedding cakes include a complementary 6-inch Anniversary Cake.  To receive this offer, please contact us 30 days prior to your Anniversary date to order.

  • Grooms Cake
If you are ordering a Grooms Cake in addition to your wedding cake, special pricing may be available.

  • How much cake do you need? 










Other sizes and shapes are available.  the serving amounts include the top tier.  If you would like to keep your top tier please subtract 12 serving from round and 18 servings for square.




  • Consultation and Cake Tasting's
We only offer complementary consultation and cake tasting's on Specialty Cakes over $150.00.

  • Pricing
Specialty cake pricing start at $45.00.  Prices are based on size and type of design.   Please contact us to get an accurate price quote.
  • First Birthday Cakes
If you order a First birthday cake with us, you will also receive a complementary 6 inch smash cake for the Birthday boy/girl.




  • Pricing
Mini cupcake prices start $0.75 each with a minimum order of 2 dozen.
Cupcake prices start at $2.00 each with a minimum order of 2 dozen.
Jumbo cupcake prices start at $3.00 each with a minimum order of a dozen.
